Travis K. Gable – Treasurer

A Certified Public Accountant by trade, Travis currently serves as the President of Signet Financial Group, a small business tax and payroll firm with offices in Nashville, TN; Tullahoma, TN; and Little Rock, AR. He has been with the firm for almost a year. Travis is a graduate of Harding University (B.A.- Accounting). He has also served as the CFO for Excelon Steel and The Greeting Pen Company. Travis’ specific charge with our foundation is to use his professional abilities to closely keep and examine our finances. At our inaugural Board of Director’s meeting, Travis presented these core tenets which we recognized as fundamental truths, and therefore adopted as our mission with regards to the gifts and resources we receive as a non-profit organization.

  • God owns everything. We are the managers of the assets God has entrusted —not given to us.

  • Our heart always goes where we put God’s money. Watch what happens when we reallocate our money from temporal things to eternal things.

  • Heaven, not earth, is our home. We are citizens of “a better country—a heavenly one” (Hebrews 11:16).

  • Giving is the only antidote to materialism. Giving is a joyful surrender to a greater person and a greater agenda. It dethrones “self” and exalts Him.

  • God prospers us not to raise our standard of living, but to raise our standard of giving. God gives us more money than we need so we can give—generously.

As an organization, we have a strict fiscal discipline imposed by our spiritual charge of stewardship. We have an open book accounting which will be published monthly in our e-newsletter and available online at our website. Travis’ experience and willingness to serve in this capacity gives us real insight into financial planning and fiscal discipline with the money we receive. He and his wife Amy have two sons, Mark and Bennett, and live in St. Charles, Missouri.

Alan Manley – Executive Vice President

Alan first went to Honduras in the summer of 2005. He fell in love with the country and the people – and immediately began to upgrade his Spanish speaking ability. He worked with the Spanish Inner City Ministry in Montgomery, and was soon fluent – speaking like a native. Since that first trip, Alan has traveled numerous times to Honduras, participating in and supporting different ministries. His most significant accomplishment, though, occurred when he met his wife, Nancy Lara. Nancy is a native of Catacamas, and Alan and Nancy now make their home in Alabama.
