Our ministries in Honduras are focused on children.We strive to meet their needs for food and education, but most importantly, their need to come to know our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.We work in partnership with churches of Christ, and through our Mission Point Resource Center (MPRC) in Catacamas, Honduras. We train and resource Sunday school teachers and parents, and support children with scholarships (BECAs) and feeding.
School Supplies
Kids at the Garbage Dump School are excited to receive donated supplies.Thirty kids are taught in a small classroom – K – 3rd grade in the morning, and 4th – 6th in the afternoon.
Feeding Program
About 150 kids are fed two meals per week at three locations.Meals are prepared by ladies from the churches.
BECA Program
Refuge provides BECAs, a Spanish word for 'scholarship', for about 29 children with more requests waiting.An education for kids unable to afford one.
MPRC
Mission Point Resource Center is managed by a committee of local, dedicated ladies. The committee plans and conducts seminars for teachers, parents, and families as well as offering computer classes.
